BPI addresses the structural racism and systemic oppression that has led to inequities and injustices in the Chicago region and Illinois, particularly for people and communities of color.

A Custom-Built WordPress Website

BPI Chicago reached out to a local Chicago web design company, Idea Marketing Group, to create a custom website on the WordPress Content Management System that would help inform people who are concerned with public interest law. With the help of Idea Marketing Group’s custom web designers, BPI Chicago retained control over future updates to the website, which is user-friendly and optimized for strong ranking in search engines like Google.

Fighting for Racial and Social Justice

The organization has been advancing innovative solutions to pressing issues of social justice and quality of life in the Chicago region for over 50 years. BPI Chicago’s work is focused on police accountability, the criminal legal system, housing, and early learning. They want to resolve the compelling issues of social justice and quality of life in the Chicagoland area. BPI utilizes a combination of legal tools, policy research, advocacy, organizing, and convening to work towards transformational change.
