Chad Barbee

Chad was born and raised in the Northern Virginia/DC metro area. After spending time studying music composition and philosophy at Virginia Commonwealth University, Chad finally found his passion for programming.

Beginning his career as a full-time programmer in 2004, he has spent much of his career developing and maintaining websites within the publishing industry: building sites for magazines, newsletters, and online publications. Chad is always looking for ways to optimize workflow and automate repetitive tasks. He has spent many years on both sides of server requests, handling back-end business logic and front-end display.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and two, now-grown, daughters. He has a passion for playing hockey, ensuring us that someday he will not be referred to as “Pylon”…we had to look it up too.
