Front End Web Developer
Idea Marketing Group is looking for a full-time Front End Web Developer with WordPress experience to join our fast-paced creative company. We work a 36 hour work week which allows for half days on Friday. Weekend work is rare. Looking for experience building websites using the latest web standards with smart responsive layouts and fast load speeds. Willingness to go that extra mile to ensure work is done right within tight deadlines.
- This remote position is open for individuals only in the USA
- You must share examples of your code, GitHub is preferred with PHP code samples
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate within a team to develop smart, responsive layouts and fast load speeds
- Succeed within deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail
- Constant improvement of WordPress skills (actions, filters, and plugin development)
- Assist the Support team in troubleshooting issues with existing clients
- Execute excellent coding standards and best practices
- Remain current on industry norms and future trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience developing stand-out web experiences (Agency work is a plus)
- Extensive knowledge of PHP (OOP), MySQL, HTML, CSS (SASS), and JavaScript/JQuery
- Working knowledge of LiteSpeed/Apache and WordPress
- Experience working with Figma
- A knack for working effectively and collaboratively within a team
